Summer, Friends, Family... and most of all getting CRUNK

So close yet so far is the thought that most kids at UIC are thinking... It's kind of those things where you want to go.. but then again you don't. The people I met here are like my second family. Not to mention I love the city atmosphere. But, there is something missing. It could possibly be the fact that I miss my actual family at some points.. My best friends, who are basically my brothers, and you guys know who you are. This summer is going to be very interesting. Hopefully things will happen for the better. I know for a fact that I'll be hanging with Sudeep, Priyanth, and Maithili a lot over the summer. There is no doubt in that. And, I'll be looking forward to next year. Tony is my roommate! Other than that, I'm still thinking about Lollapalooza... Hopefully, it will work out. GTA 4... working... parties... trips.... CTF 08... all that good stuff. Did I mention hanging out with my new friends from UIC?? That will def happen. And I have to apply for honors college... sooner or later, and figure out if we are dorming at TBH or JST... or MRH.. but I don't see MRH happening. Well, whatever will happen.. will happen for a reason.. All we have to do is follow our path into the horizon and see what we have in store for ourselves.

Let's See

Days till freedom I think as I look out the window. Classes are easing down since Spring Break is coming up in a couple of days. I only have a French Test coming up soon. I am planning to take a little break from mixing to focus on some of the band things that are going on. Mainly, it's just me writing songs. I have 5 written as of now. Some of which I'm not to happy about so they wouldn't make it in the end. As for the whole synth thing, I've been working on some tunes at home with my sisters Yamaha piano/synth and I have some ideas. Recently, I've been listening to Gnarls Barkley, Lupe Fiasco, The Postal Service, and Junkie XL. I really like the new Gnarls Barkley album The Odd Couple. I recommend the song Going On which I think is the 3rd track in the album. I'm still thinking about going to Lollapalooza with Sudeep and Roshan.. but from what I heard Daft Punk, Lupe Fiasco, and Muse are going to be in the show. and if all of them are in the same day that would be awesome. We will see how things turn out.
